2 / 6
Translated from swedish: One misses, or alternatively ignores, the plot threads that have been laid out, simplifies things to the extreme, in short, humiliates the audience with a: "we know this is stupid, but what the hell, it probably suits you just fine".

Negative, no rating
Translated from swedish: There's nothing here to review. You can only observe that the film contains what it contains, stuff that's already been done before, and that anyone who likes this sort of thing will like it.

1. Moviezine
Translated from swedish: "ID4" actually still holds up today. It's hard not to love Emmerich's colorful disaster cake even though the individual ingredients sometimes leave something to be desired and it's baked by a drooling overly enthusiastic baker. But watch it to see landmarks and skyscrapers blown up, watch it for the dizzying cosmic terror of the motherships – not for Will Smith's cocky, cigar-chomping fighter pilot.
