The film is just over two hours long but is surprisingly entertaining, at least in comparison to other films in the genre. It oscillates between slasher, comedy and action. - Jonatan Södergren

"Bullet Train" may be a bit too long and self-assured, but it's never boring in the unevenness. It's stylish, violent, and full of actors who are noticeably having fun - which is contagious. - Daniel Hånberg Alonso

It's almost as if on rails when a group of familiar faces are bumping into each other in pursuit of a bag full of money. The pace is high and the violence brutal, but the jokes become somewhat one-dimensional. - Alexander Kardelo

"Bullet Train" is not unique in itself but offers a fairly original story that has a good drive. The action sequences are intense and tight as they take place on a train. I also like the film's characters, all of whom have their very odd personalities.

"Bullet Train" is an entertaining action thriller with a large ensemble led by Brad Pitt. Director David Leitch has tried to emulate Guy Ritchie's style with mixed results. - Andreas Ziegler

Here we are offered well-known cameos, splatter, rap and great dialogues, wonderful action, humor that is one of the funniest this year, a fantastic Brad Pitt in the lead role, reunions from other films, and a visual spectacle that is packaged in a tight script where everything more or less takes place on this traveling train. - Linus Andersen
