"Thor: The Dark World" is a good and entertaining film, but unfortunately towards the end it becomes a bit too much action, which means that the film does not quite reach the same high class as the first film. Here there are Asgardian gods, dark elves who want to cast the Earth into darkness, here there are pure space weapons, here there are monstrous warriors, here there are a couple of chaste kisses, and here there is a liquid that threatens to erase all light. 1. Senses
The highlight of the film is really the interplay between Chris Hemsworth's Thor and Tom Hiddleston's Loki, it's a mix of brotherly love and hatred, and you never know where you stand with the mischievous Loki. Rene Russo as Thor's mother Frigga is also incredibly good in the film.
