Translated from swedish: Despite some odd moments of failed comic relief and flat characters, this turned out to be a pleasantly surprising film that delivers significantly better entertainment than most other dystopian future stories. With fantastic visual effects and a well-crafted world that truly draws the viewer in, "Mortal Engines" manages to stand out from the crowd, despite its flaws.
