3.2 / 4
Translated from swedish: The concept is irresistible, the sentimental drama that unfolds when enemies live each other's lives is surprisingly moving, and it's incredibly fun watching Cage and Travolta ham it up as each other, but ultimately it's the film's breakneck pace and fairly elegant action sequences that bring the movie home with a bang. Definitely one of the most memorable action films of the '90s.

Translated from swedish: No director comes close to John Woo when it comes to choreographed violence: there's no such thing as more beautiful horrors or more horrific beauty. But it's not just the craft itself that's exceptional - the film also has a solid theme, even a mission: to explore identity and what makes a person unique.

Translated from swedish: The intellect complains about violence-glorifying human carnage, while the heart says cruelly entertaining and fantastically beautiful action poetry. However, after the brilliant opening, the film gradually loses momentum.

Translated from swedish: Director John Woo isn't ashamed to go all out with spectacular visuals and completely throw realism out the window in his now-classic film "Face Off 1997". Built on an intelligent concept, he takes us on a wild ride packed with surprising twists.

Translated from swedish: An awesome action flick with great actors and impressive action sequences. A few plot holes but they're easy to forgive.
